It's not a real 'lost' movie from 1990, that's just a neat gimmick to sell this flick. But it IS everything else of which I've ever dreamed.
Firt, Kevin Sorbo is in it. I ADORE him. And you do too. Second, it is set in Van Nuys, California (think: the shitty part of Los Angeles) my humble home. And it's about Mexicans. If you make anything that is set in Van Nuys, it better have lots of fucking Mexicans in it because - gees. We have a lot of them here. They have great supermercados at which I can by plastic spoons con tamarind. Soy gringa, pero quiero tamarind.
